The Town of Central High is governed by a Town Council. The Council is made up of 5 trustees, a town clerk, and a town treasurer. The Council are members elected at-large (not tied to specific districts within Central High) with elections held every other year. Council members serve 4 year terms. The trustees elect a mayor and vice mayor from their members.
