Looking for a way to get more involved in your community? This is a great place to start.

Following the success of our first Founders Day Celebration on January 4, 2026, we’re excited to begin building this event into a lasting annual tradition. Planning is already underway for the 2027 celebration, and we’re looking for community members who want to play a role in making it even better.

This is a statewide health and wellness initiative dedicated to helping residents make simple, positive lifestyle changes. The program offers FREE tools, resources, and inspiration to eat better, get active, choose water, and live tobacco-free – all designed to make healthy choices easy for families, individuals, schools and workplaces across our state.

Visitors to the site can…

  • Find healthy recipes, meal planning tips, and budget-friendly hacks
  • Explore fun activity ideas to get moving
  • Learn how to reduce sugary drinks and boost hydration
  • Access free downloadable materials for parents, teachers, and health providers
  • Get involved with local schools, workplaces, and community events promoting wellbeing
